If you ever wanted to experience the Zombie Apocalypse, but with out all of the gore you should go to the Washington Township-Centerville Library at 10:00 am. The library opens at 10, but people are parked and waiting well in advance. At about 9:55 they start gathering in front of the doors. It seriously looks like a scene from a zombie movie...there are people (librarians, librarians are people too) trapped inside a building with zombies pawing at the door trying to get at the fresh meat (in this case it's usually the new releases they're after). If you look out across the parking lot you can see several elderly people and stay-at-home moms (and dads) shuffling their way towards the entrance...totally look like zombies.
For a more PG-13 real life zombie experience you could hang out with some animals that have rabies.
